My first tweed Suit

Added Mar 22, 2009

by milkyway

Enschede, Nether...

I used a simple pants pattern from Burda Easy fashion magazine (2006) and a blazer pattern from an old burda WOF, both pieces are lining.
This is the first suit I dare to make because all my creations are more simple, it has a lot of details. I was able to make perfectly the bounded pockets thanks to the how tos I found here in Burdastyle.

Material Notes

3 mts. of brown tweed

Burda for the patterns

You go girl! Good job on all those bound pockets, the colour is great on you and, just in general, I may be utterly uncapable of anything but loving a tailored tweed suit ;)
