Description

From the free Colette pattern available at http://www.coletterie.com/colette-patterns-news/free-pattern-to-download-the-sorbetto-top. I changed the neckline a little (not terribly keen on the result of this part) and added some cap sleeves. I wanted to make a light cotton top for warm summer days but unfortunately 1/ it wasn’t so warm this summer in Melbourne and 2/ I didn’t finish it until the end of summer. I do love the fabric though.

This is really, really pretty. Been holding off using a lovely paisley fabric and you’ve inspired me to make another sorbetto but this time, with sleeves. How did you draft them?

This Sorbetto is lovely too. I like the cap sleeves. Come up to Brisbane, it is still hot and humid here and a Sorbetto is perfect to wear here!!
