Description

I was commissioned to design and create an wedding outfit for a mother of the groom. My client is a fabulously beautiful woman inside and out, having a full size figure and no good options off the rack. She had an image of a blouse she desired and so immediately I went to Burda.com in search of patterns. I found a jacket that became the basis for my pattern hacking, Burda 3/4 sleeve light jacket 05/2012 #138 http://www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/34-sleeve-light-jacket-plus-size-052012. The plus size surplice bodice front is what I needed. The end result is a completely different pattern, but it all started with the one mentioned here .
