Description

This half apron is for the Sewing Republic Apron Remake Challenge!

It is made from orange patterned cotton fabric from Heather Bailey’s Nicey Jane collection, along with a pretty blue rose print vintage/up-cycled fabric.

I made this apron my own by cutting the three panels a few inches longer than the pattern and doing pleats across the front of the whole apron (instead of the gathering in the middle). I also added another pocket so that there would be one on each side and put an edge and ric-rac on the pockets. The ties are a bit longer (and wider!) than than the pattern, which makes this apron one size fits all!!

Thanks for taking a look!

PS: My little old machine doesn’t have the best stitch in the world, and can only do straight or zig-zag, so I would be so very excited to have a shiny, new BERNINA! :)

I love the yellow pattern. It looks like it should be in an organic cafe. Really sweet. Nice photos!
