Mod-ish Knit Dress

South Ogden, Uta...

4074 Simplicity- I have had this cut out for 2 years before I sewed it up. (I got black boots for Christmas and wanted something new to wear with them.) Thank heavens I matched the front design or this dress could have been a disaster! I took a good 2 inches out of the middle back to adjust for a swayback and left the dress not quite tight so I could be comfortable. I tend to weigh a bit more in the fall/winter and this dress is obviously for that time of year. I also lengthened all but the front by 4+ inches so added an offgrain inset at the center front bottom. This dress is fantastic and easy to wear! The length and shape have kind of a 70’s vibe mixed with the design.

Snazzy dress! Your dress was in the same fabric of a Nordstroms.com dress I saw a few years ago.
