Miss I. At The Opera

At last, my LBD! I made it right before going to the Opera, even had to finish some details in the tramway…
The fabric is a little weird, it was some sofa cover at my grandma’s. It has vertical lines like corduroy, but to touch, it’s like rayon, but more thick…

I used a lutterloh pattern, and in the end it was very different from what I expected! But after ironing, it was nice. By the way, on the pics, it just came out of my suitcase, that’s why it’s a little wrinkly.

So basically it’s a bodice with a square closure, which I like, and a high waisted skirt with inverted pleats. On the front, there are 3 pleats, one big in the middle and two small on the sides, and on the back only 2 small.

So, quite simple… And I added a bow belt. So it’s cute :)

Really flattering. I like it a lot! The bow on the front transforms it into something special. :-)
