Minichallenge Anda remake

Miami, Florida, ...

New Anda dress pattern. Able to wear three different ways. No belt, belted high at waist, or belted low at hips.

How I made My version:

I printed the Anda dress pattern and cut out the pattern using muslin fabric.
I then constructed the dress and fit it to the dress form. Using draping techniques I changed the pattern: shortened shoulder length; lowered neckline; made a fitted yoke style line; shortened skirt length.
Then I transferred the new version of the Anda dress to paper to create a new pattern. Once everything was transferred I used flat pattern techniques to create a front placket ( I extended center front, and made appropriate markings), and to add fullness to the bottom part of the dress.
Then I took the fabric belt pattern and modified it to be longer and wider.

Material Notes

100 % cotton fabric; interfacing; buttons; thread

That looks very good on you. I really like your version of Anda! I was not much for the original pattern, but now seeing your version I will reconsider it.
