Mini Sleeve Off-Soulder Dress

Added May 20, 2018

This is my May #BurdaChallenge2018. I enjoyed a lot making this dress. The fact that it was jersey catch my attention. I used this thin flowery jersey fabric from Joann. I think it was perfect for this dress. I have to admit it was a little bit tricky because the fabric was so slinky and thin, but I got my dress! I decided to do it halter instead. When I finished the straps they turned out too small and falling off my shoulders. Before reattaching them I checked if they were long enough to tie up the neck, and yes! I loved the look even more, it sits lower on my shoulders. I didn’t add the elastic to the waist, I was going to use a belt anyway, and I like the lose look. I think it looks very sexy like this! I accessorized with jewelry I’ve made, a simple glass disks (that I also made) chocker was perfect. I wore it to my bffs birthday dinner and as soon as got in the restaurant compliments were coming from all directions! …and yes, I wore blue lipstick (Lipsense).

Thanks! I love to see how it progresses from tracing the pattern to cut fabric to final product!
