Description

I have waited for the right moment trying out this Marfy pattern. It’s from the catalogue 2014/15. It has a nice square neck and to pop it up I’ve used the technique with peter ribbon. Black linen is great sewing with, and it makes it special with the back length a bit longer than in front as well. I wasn’t sure to put on the short sleeves, and I think it was nice without as well, but then I can use it even if the weather is a bit colder :)

Wow Ellen it fits you great, I like the style of the dress with the uneven hem and it’s getting more unique with the ribbon. It is really my style.

This is striking! The black dress is certainly elegant by itself but, without the lightning it would be a little bit “boring” for my taste. I’ve tried this technique twice for my black-and-white and my black-and-yellow dress but it didn’t came out as expected. I’ll give it a third chance…
