This is the second lot of this set I have made. The first being for my Brother’s baby and this one for a girl friend’s baby. Everyone seems to be “popping out” baby boys at the moment so I chose to make these in mainly blue and green.

The original pattern doesn’t call for bias binding (just zig-zaging or over-casting the raw edges) but I love the look of bias binding (although it can drive me nuts!) and I prefer a more “finished” look.
I think it looks pretty cute and funky!

Material Notes

Cotton quilting fabric, polar fleece, assorted ribbons, ric rac, a bell for the “block”.

Hi Darl! Just with craft stuffing. I put 3 (count ’em) bells in side as well – I thought if the thing is gonna “tingle” it might as well “TINGLE”!!!

Stitch Perfect! I love the bias trim, too – totally worth the extra effort. And you have a great eye for colour. The whole ensemble is cute as a button.
