Currently looking for a better name for this thing. It’s a really ornate long coat in which I’m putting contact mics and other material that I’ll be able to plug into an amp or fx pedal, etc. and tap out beats on myself. I don’t have too damn far to go. I’ll post pics when it’s done. You’ll wanna see this!!

Material Notes

Umm.. not entirely sure what you expect here. Fabric Depot is FAR SUPERIOR to Joann Fabrics in service, price, and selection. Anyway, most of the outer fabric I got from the “home decor” section. The main one is black background with brown and gold swirly, leafy, umm, regalia (?). Then there’s the burgundy vinyl sections with more gold/green swirly embroidery on it. Then I got some copper/purple faux gator skin. Various jewely flourishes will be strategically placed on it. Batting on the inside. Purple/burgundy lining. All hand stitched because I’m a sewing-machine-phobe. Good times!

Garment Type
Bohemian, Goth/Gothic Lolita, Other, Rock, Victorian

A musical coat?! Yes, I do wanna see this. It’s a grand fabric. Good choice.

How does ‘Feral and the RocknRolla Beat Coat’ sound? Or, "Feral and the Knock-you-off-your-feet Coat’?

You’ll find something apt, or, a catchy name will find you. I am never sure which way around inspiration goes. One thing is for sure… this piece is inspired!
