Lydia Short Sleeve T-shirt Variation

Added Sep 29, 2008

Edinburgh, Unite...

My first t-shirt project. The pattern was very simple to follow and can be adjusted easily to less than size 32.
The collar went a bit squiffy, but it’s barely noticable, thankfully!

Material Notes

Stretch jersey (Bought on holiday for $1 a yard in Walmart!)

Burda, myself.

Great shirt, looks beautiful. Like the way you made it without sleeves but over the shoulder.

Ahh, I miss Walmart! Fabric stores here in Scotland are sooo much more expensive.

Oh and I was originally going to put on the sleeves, then realised I liked it as it was, so simply left them off!

Thank you very much Nemah! I discovered a way of kinda cheating when doing necklines. I used small amounts iron-on adhesive to hold the fabric in place before sewing with a double threaded needle. Made it much easier to keep neat :)

You have a very professional finish to your neckline and arm openings. The price is great, a Lydia for under 2 pounds sterling. (sorry, I can’t find the symbol for your currency;( ) Nehmah
