Portland, Oregon...

I finally finished this little white sheath dress from New Look 6123 pattern in stretch cotton sateen that I started back in February. I added a lining to the pattern as it does not come with instructions to line the dress. I love this dress and plan to make it again, maybe doing some design changes and tweaks to this basic sheath pattern. The pattern actually comes with drapes and a crossover bodice view as well, so many options to do with this pattern.

More details on the whole process of this dress and style inspirations on my blog Ode to Sew: http://odetosew.com/2014/02/07/lwd-sewing-contest-dress/

Material Notes

stretch cotton sateen, stretch woven poly/rayon lining, invisible zipper.

Garment Type
Cotton, Blends

Thanks! I have been wanting to make more white dresses, they look so cool and fresh (even when I’m not so cool or fresh!).
