Description

I started a sewing club with some girlfriends and our first project was a lunch sack. I was pretty stoked on the outcome although if I could change anything now I would have added an extra panel on the bottom to help it stand on it’s own.

Material Notes

I used oilcloth for the gingham side panels, vinyl for the main panel (I loved the damask pattern and they didn’t offer it in oilcloth), chalkboard oilcloth (thanks to a fellow Burda member for the idea), and nylon lining. I wouldn’t recommend using vinyl for this project as it isn’t stiff enough.
