Description

I must admit, I have been unfaithful to burda!

…Once upon a time, I found a cute pattern magazine. It was coming all the way from Finland and was called “Ottobre”. I instantly fell in love with the dress pattern that was in it. I did sew happily ever after and we had a pretty baby project…

This pattern is the pattern 16 of Ottobre. The dress is in 3 pieces. For the top, I wanted to use an old fabric that my grand ma got to make a dress for my mum when she was a baby (well, a few decades ago ;)). The pattern on that fabric is actually not printed but sewn!

I chose a yellow theme for the “official town council wedding” of my best friend. It was so fun to wear. And I was amazed how well the pattern of the dress fitted!

We took pics back home, in weird frames that are in front of our place!

Laurwyn, I love every single project you post, and this is no exception. The dress looks so pretty on you! It’s classic and fun at the same time, and really expresses your style… what we can see of it here on burdastyle anyway. :-) Thanks for sharing your beautiful clothes and fun sense of humour with us all. <3

The fit is perfect! It looks better on you than it does on the model in de magazine, I think. It compliments your body type :).
