Description

I made this dress using Sewaholic pattern’s Lonsdale dress, maxi length. I used an awesome piece of gold/white/brown/orange paisley fabric I bought at an estate sale.
I did a narrow machine hem and hand picked the zipper, but otherwise followed the pattern exactly. It is really flattering and lovely for the spring and summer!

What a great fit for you! And the fabric is perfect for this dress. I’ve been wanting to make my own lonsdale, but I’m still on a fabric hunt. Seeing your dress makes me want to run to the fabric store today :)

Wow, I love the print you chose for this dress, great job. I’ve had my eye on this pattern for a while but I am not a fan of super long dresses but I think it would look great shorter too.

I have been looking for this style of dress with the crossed halter for weeks!! Thank you for posting this, now I know where I can get it. So expensive, though! For being an “easy” pattern…

Yea, but it;s nice to support independent pattern designers. To me it seems better than paying 20 bucks to Butterick, etc!

Very true, it is good to support the independent designers. My hang up is that where I come from even brand name advanced level designer patterns cost less than this one. :(

You look great in your beautiful dress. How lucky were you to find this beautiful fabric in an estate sale!! This looks like a very useful pattern for summer days and nights.
