“If you have a couple of hours on your hands and some rests of fabrics, this is the perfect project for you. The princess seams are ideal to get a perfect fit, since you can just try it on and adjust it once you have the main bodice assembled. The blouse doesn’t have separate sleeves but an extension that works like a cap sleeve, which saves a lot of time and hassle.”
From Burda Style

Material Notes

I made this in a cotton plaid, like the sample. I tried very hard to match and I think I did a pretty good job. I also cut the side panels on the bias, although that is not stated in the instructions. I think bias gives it a very nice fit.

you look so good in this – as opposed to the waif model! This pattern really suits a tartan style fabric. I think I will have to tackle this pattern soon.

Very nice and so versatile. It would look great with jeans as well.
