little wine riding hood

I always wanted a cape… here it is. I did redraft the hood as per other member’s suggestion and I am quite happy with the hood now. It was pretty easy to make except for the leather piping around the hood and at the bottom edge of the cape. Overall came together well for me. I learn more and more with every project.
Happy sewing :-)

I really like the color of your cape and it looks really nice. The piping adds an interesting touch! I may give it a try too…

Thank you. I’m really quite proud, not perfect but I’m happy with my results.
It should be quite easy for an accomplished seamstress like your self. ;-)
