Description

I made this faux Chanel jacket for my six year old daughter who likes to dress like an adult rather than a child! She does look cute in this boxy jacket though. I made it from a wool coating that was in my stash for a long time, it’s lovely and soft fabric but being pink plaid it’s perfect for a little girls jacket. The jacket is fully lined with some pink lining, and I hand stitched the metallic trim around the neckline and front opening. Aside from adding patch pockets and lengthening the sleeves, the jacket is pretty much exactly as the pattern is drafted. It’s a really simple and quick project, but is a great addition to the wardrobe for those odd occasions when you want your child to dress really nicely!
