Description

Coffee date dress w/ in-seam pockets and denim belt- couldn’t quite decide what size I was and erred on too large, so I added some pleats to the skirt and had to fiddle with the bodice darts. The armholes are still a bit small for me, so I’ll try to enlarge them if I make another. The facing was by far the most difficult step for me (a beginner!), and wouldn’t pass any serious inspection, but I love wearing it anyway!

This is a pretty dress. Adding the pockets gives it a casual feel yet with the ruffles keeps it dressy. Cute, I like it.

Hey Lisa! It’s Ariel. :) I love the dress! The pockets are such a great idea. I’m probably going to start this project soon so I’m definitely going to put pockets in it too!
