Like a necklace...

What about a boxy, mni, summer dress? My response would be “No, thanks…”
But this is not the case here… The eyecatching neckline compensates for the unflattering shape and the length issue is solved by turning the dress into a tunic.
It certainly requires some extra patience but I think it’s worth.

This looks stunning, Elpida. That neckline is just so wonderful…I think you do have to put the time in to get that kind of result. So, yes, well worth it!

από τα οραιοτερα που έχεις φτιάξει, έχει απλή γραμμή αλλά η επιλογή υφάσματος και η λεπτομέρια στη λαιμόκοψη το κάνουν ιδιαίτερο και ευκολοφόρετο!

Although I’m a big fan of colorful prints, this time I decided that a solid color would highlight the pattern much better…But not toooo solid…The embroidery offered the right dose for a color addicted person…

It’s always a good idea to turn a mini dress into a tunic :-) I like the splash of red and blue in the cutout neckline. It is as if your are wearing a beautiful necklace. Stunning!

Thank you Ellie! I’ll be in Berlin from Friday 30/6 to Tuesday 4/7! My friend has prepared an exhausting schedule but I do want to buy a fabric as souvenir….Any suggestions for fabric shopping are welcome!

Beautiful tunic, love your idea of using the fabric to make the loops more colourful! This pattern is also on my list, just need the right fabric now ☺

Thank you! I think the pattern is “lost” under colorful prints. I think that a solid color with contrasting color stripes for the neckline would look nice too.

Oh, it was very very worth!!! What a masterpiece, it looks so stylish on you! I’m not a fan of boxy dresses either, but lately this silhouette started growing on me a bit – if nothing else, it sure is very comfortable! But turning this one into a tunic was very smart, the proportions work great for you!

You are right…This shape is not appealing but it’s definetely very, very practical. I’ve worn this one much more than other, more flattering clothes

Elpida this is gorgeous. I hoped someone would tackle this neckline so I could see it made up . you have done a wonderful job incorporating the fabric pattern as the loop holders. This looks lovely on you xx
