Lekala 5985: skirt with buttons and curved front seam

In a move to build up my wardrobe a bit, here’s another skirt from Lekala Patterns. I love it, I really dig the curved seam down the front. It moves nicely, and my choice of dark grey fabric means it will be a staple item worn again and again. details here:

    thanks guys, this was fun to make. It seems to be hit and miss with Lekala – the skirt patterns are fine, but I’m experiencing some issues with dresses. Width-wise measurements are fine, but length-wise sometimes seem off. I’m working on 2 dresses now, the length from shoulder to bust apex is off (I’m fairly chesty) so I’ve had to modify the top pieces to make that part longer. Not a big deal, still worth the effort, some of their designs are very nice…

    Wow, I love that detail with the buttons! I have yet to try a Lekala pattern, but this may have pushed me over the edge! Thanks for sharing :)
