From Burdastyle: “Wow! This fitted leather jacket in soft lambskin nappa is loaded with unusual details such a plunging neckline, pleated peplum, asymmetrical front zip and wide lapels/revers.”

Details are on my blog: http://fivemuses.blogspot.com/search/label/Leather%20Jacket

Material Notes

I used black lambskin nappa and silk for the lining.

You’ve inspired me to make this jacket, your version is amazing! However I’m having the hardest time attaching the peplum in the back, are there any tips you can give me? I’ve tried so many times and it’s all wrong. It doesn’t help that the pattern pieces that were included in my PDF are incorrect and I received the full back non- peplum CB pattern piece. I appreciate your help, it’s the corners of the peplum that I’m struggling with. Thanks :)

It turned out gorgeous, great job! I’ve always wanted to make it in leather but was a bit reluctant, I think you pushed me over the line to try it now.

Beautiful jacket! It fits you so well and suits your awesome hair! Seriously, how did you get your hair that colour? Mine just rebels and comes out a muddy colour every time! :)

Very easy. I take my hair and stuff it into a hair net. Then, I plop a purple wig on top. Easy peasy and I can change color at will. ;-)
