This year, my daughter surprisingly asked me to sew her a Halloween costume of her choice. I used to sew her one every year from 2006 to 2011, before we purchased a ready-made one or the pieces to create a costume.

I used an apron pattern from a Simplicity 1240 pattern that I transformed into what I call a “Seasonal Starbucks Barista”. Some customers looked puzzled and curious when we walked into a local SB cafe for her usual passion lemonade tea. My daughter collected a Starbuck-etful of treats on her Halloween trick-or-treat venture that evening.

Thank you, liliv! It is especially to see their joy and excitement to wear something that was made especially for them.
