    Thank you both! I went with the bias tape idea because my sweater arms were so much larger than my leg circumference that I had to cut out the extra leaving the raw edges exposed. My boots are really short, too, so I’ve never been able to find the right warmers.

    Cute idea! I will seriously be needing these before too long–will have to check out some of my older sweaters. I’ve re-used the ribbing and other parts before, but I hadn’t thought of using the whole sleeve like this. I may ‘borrow’ this idea–hope you don’t mind!
