Knitted Wool Sweater/Dress

Added Jan 8, 2015

by Ellen Hatteland

Nedre Vats, Norway

This sweater/dress is made of wool/mohair knitted fabric and it’s very delicious so I had to be careful when cutting the pieces. I have used stabilizer around the opening for the scarf-neck and around the arm inserts. As you can see my wool top is showing underneath, but it’s warm and nice :)

Very delicate. Great job on the neckline and bands. Did you use an overlocker or coverstitch machine?

Thanks Christie! This time I didn’t use the overlocker – I had to sew it very carefully and therefore I decided to only use my sewing machine :)
