Khaki Parka

Added Nov 10, 2015

by Vivat Veritas

Tokyo, Japan

My new parka is ready for just in time for the coming cold! I’ve been wanting to make a parka since I realized I did not have a single item in Khaki color in my closet. I was deciding between the military jacket and BurdaStyle 09/2012 #129, but finally decided to go for the version with a hood.

More photos and review of the pattern at my blog, Vivat Veritas.

Material Notes

Poly mix gabardine, jersey knit for lining (bodice), polyester lining for sleeves, buttons and interface

Fall, Winter
Garment Type
Casual, Military
Blends, Knits/Jersey, Polyester
