Jersey Infinity Wrap Dress

Burbank, Califor...

This is one of those “100 ways” dresses that several brands have out there, and mine is no different in that it can be worn many ways… however, I made it to be worn as seen in the picture, after I saw the American Apparel version being worn as such and loved it. I almost never stray from wrapping it that particular way.

The beauty of this dress lies in it essentially being the shape of a pillowcase… a true two-hour (or even one hour) dress.

Material Notes

Teal jersey for the main dress, left with raw edges. Black jersey for the straps… the longer, the better, because then there are more ways to wrap!

I had some difficulty with the fabric chosen only because I would have preferred a lighter weight knit, but it’s a tricky balance to strike since lining this isn’t a very smooth option and I didn’t want it to be nipply since bras are not an option with the way I wear it. The weight of the jersey is up to the wearer, and will give different looks to the dress.

Very nice! :-) (Also, have you seen those stick-on silicon nipple covers you can get? Brilliant for wearing lower-backed dresses without having to worry about the nipply issue.)
