I love corduroy... :-)

Hove, United Kin...

This is the first pattern that I have altered myself… I decided I wanted a kick pleat in the back rather than a split, and I also wanted 2 front flaps, rather than 1 and also a back belt. So, after thinking about it for what seemed like forever I got out my baking paper and went to work on altering the pattern and this is what I came up with.
I am in love with anything corduroy, I just love the texture of it… so when I saw this in khaki (green my favourite colour) for the bargain price of £1.50 I just had to have it.
My boyfriend tried this on and it fits him… so guess what – my next project is to make him one too… I’m going to man it up a bit but essentially he wants it the same, I think he just wants to be one of those couples who wear matching clothes… ha ha…
Oh, I used McCalls M5525

Who doesn’t love corduroy? I like the green and the sleeve detailing near the cuff.
