Horse-riding shirt

Added Feb 9, 2009

by perfk

Wellington, New ...

It’s summer here at the moment, and it can get really hot wearing long-sleeve shirts under horse riding jackets. I already had a similar shirt that I purchased for $80 last year – but decided to try and make one for myself that is sleeveless, breathable, and pretty. In the end it cost me $5! Crazy.

Material Notes

stretch material (white & black), thread, bias binding, zipper, button

Inspired by Geegee shirts and Moores riding wear (both local New Zealand companies)

Pattern drafting & construction by me :)

I like this shirt very much, especially the bias trim and the collar.

Great job on the shirt! It looks well tailored and seems to fit you perfectly. You must be so pleased about the result and about the savings.
