I love this color! It’s so obnoxiously cheery! For this blouse I used the BurdaStyle pattern 09/2012 #118 in a medium weight cotton jersey fabric. And, because I am terrified of making button-holes, I used snaps instead of buttons for the closures.

    Oohh, you can wear yellow!! So envious! Your blouse is beautifully made – i can do buttonholse but I think snaps are even better for this! Nice work!

    wow that looks so good! didn’t the pattern for this only go up like a few days ago? but hey I don’t blame you! and Jersey instead of silk – ingenious!

      Thanks! No, I couldn’t possibly be that fast! It was in the September issue of BurdaStyle magazine, but I only got around to it a couple weeks ago :-)

    its lovely shirt in yellow so bright and well made. i am scared with buttonhole as well but once you set up the machine in right tension…it’s so easy.
