Description

Sometimes you just don’t want to go full out for Halloween, but you still want to be festive. That’s why I made this skirt using plaid fabric that embodies Halloween colors! I actually really love how this skirt turned out and I’ll definitily get wear out of it after Halloween. To make this outfit more festive I embroidery a spooky black cat onto some scrap fabric and attached it to a basic black T-shirt to make a little pocket. See how to make here!

For the skirt I used pattern #103 from the 09/2017 issue, and this pattern is a keeper. There are only pleats in the front making for an easy and quick-sew skirt as well as a beautiful silhouette.

Meg this is a fabulous outfit. I’m a big ‘outlander’ fan so I’m tartan mad at the moment lol. I love the cat motif and you look lovely wearing this x
