Green and Pink Neon Dress

Added Jun 27, 2014

I decided at the last minute to whip up a dress for an office party. The theme was Neon. I made this one with pattern 107 from burda magasine March 2009.

The dress has princess seam that run from the bust to the hemline, in the front and the back, which makes it super easy to fit.

The main fabric is a great quality polyester and rather than a lining, I underlined each dress piece with black stretchy lycra.

Material Notes

Knit Polyester & Lycra

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter
Garment Type
Knits/Jersey, Polyester

This is beautiful! So chic and cool. I’ll be taking a sewing class in a few weeks and to think that I can work my way up to making something as nice as this makes me so Happy:)!

Thank you! this dress would actually be a good “advanced beginner” project. the princess seams make it very easy to adjust to the right fit.
