Girl's Native Print coat

Added Apr 22, 2018

by Kira Tunin

Toronto, Canada

It was my first attempt to sew coat and lining and to create my own buttonhole without automatic buttonhole foot, since the buttons are extra large.
Living in Canada,my 11 y.o.daughter is very touched my the native people’s history. So she loves all those beautiful aboriginal prints.
She choose this 100%woolen fabric from Fabricland and this design:)
We Love the way it turned out.
hope you love it too!

*i didn’t change or modified anything with this pattern.
I only skipped the belt and belt loops.

Material Notes

100% wool for shell
100%polyester lining fabric
both was purchased at Fabricland.

We must have shopped at the same shop (FabricLand?) because I made myself a very similar coat from the same fabric. :) I’ll load it onto my profile.
