Description

A variation of the sleeved cape coat I made myself, this time for the hubby. Based on a Victorian pattern from the 1850’s, very comfortable and warm.

Material Notes

Wool geometric fabric and pick duchess satin for the lining.

      I got the pattern from a book on Victorian Mens tailoring. It’s based on an 1850’s sleeved cape coat. The pattern Only has the front, back and sleeve. The rest is added by myself. I changed the sleeve for this project as the original was very different. It’s more of a shirt sleeve shape it this project, but without the cuff. I’ll post a picture or two of the book and pattern.
