Description

I love sewing with a great cotton shirting fabric. This blouse was a lot of fun to make and such a unique pattern. It is one of the rare patterns I will be making a second time. The style of the blouse is a real pleasure to wear for both work and for causal purposes. Invisible zippers were placed in the sleeves and back seam according to the patten which adds definite interest, though the sleeves are loose enough zippers there could be omitted. The suggested hem length was too long for my preference and was shortened by a couple inches. The trickiest part was deciding how best to lay down the front cowl while testing the fit and determining the length of the flap for stitching the visual detail.

This style is great and looks good on you. I have made two of the same pattern with cowl neck as well :)

Yes this is a great pattern. I have made the dress version and loved it. Your print fabric looks lovely in the top.
