Rotterdam, Neth...

One of my first advanced projects. The patern is selfmade. interfacing is haircloth/horsehair, handstitched, also the linning. the fabric is actually for curtains but I thought it would be a beautiful jacket

I love th idea of using unconventional fabrics to creaate beautiful pieces like Coco Chanel did between 1883 and 1971

Well… You certainly have achieved that.
Just read one of the other comments. Maybe you need to throw a few dinner parties to showcase your beautiful work. Make your own place to wear it ;)

thanks! the most I learn myself by reading the pattern discriptions a hondret times. I love perfection, so I have still al lot to learn. Luckily I have a teacher who is able to do haute couture.

It was already mentioned, but the perfectly matching pattern is really impressive. I also like the five-button. haven’t seen that in a while.

      thanks :-)
the matching pattern isn’t so difficult but you need a little bit more of fabric as usual. I also made two fitting tousers by this jacket.

Perfection! I see it with an open-collared floral print shirt and a contrasting print scarf, ala Jimi Hendrix!
