Moscow, Russian ...

This top should be called “I made it from what was left”, but the name is too long, so I decided to give a shorter and colorful, especially since it fully justifies it.

I do not like to throw out the fabric flaps! For me, this is something akin to mockery! After all, even a small piece of fabric in the future can come in handy and play its important role in creating clothes. It was with such thoughts that I laid aside three small flaps of fabric after I finished sewing a flower dress for my mum.

A few years later I found an using for them. These fabric flaps turned into a rop top. Sewing pattern I was looking for a long time and eventually opted for a dress with a double bodice #130 from the magazine Burda 12/2013. Backrest made without a cut, one-piece. At the bottom, I added a frill 7 cm, in order to lengthen the silhouette and the top did not seem too short. The whole process of creating this top you can see in this video and my blog.

To put on the first time this top I decided with pants, from my previous project. Delicate watercolor flowers and pale pink pants with an overstated waist perfectly matched each other. On the day when these photos were taken, I walked with the family in the center of the city. The weather was very hot, but even more the atmosphere was warmed up by football fans who came to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. A bright and noisy crowd completely overflow Nikolskaya street near Red Square. Energetic football chants in support of their teams and happy faces of tourists were instantly charged with a positive by the passers-by who made their way through this friendly sports company.

What a lovely outfit, Stacy. Again you remind me of the elegance you see in Paris or Milan. And those gathers are just perfect! :)
