Floral Tie Top

Added May 31, 2017

This is my finished floral top for my 05/2017 Mash Up! To change up the Tie Top a little bit I drafted little sleeves (or as I like to say, water wings) that I sewed to the underarm. I made this pattern in a bright printed floral cotton and cut it in a size 38. The grommet detail along the neckline that connect the strap tie bands is perfect and I love how they are adjustable!

These maroon pants are vintage Levis that I thrifted, and the high waist line enables me to wear crop tops with them, like this top. Going to get a lot of wear out of this top this summer I’m sure.

Meg this is gorgeous and I do love the top with the jeans. Its fresh and young and fabric is lovely.. I can see myself making a longer version though and I’m old and stale lol. Love the grommets and thanks for showing how to do them xx
