Floral Splash

This all started when I bought some swimsuit bra cups on clearance at Jo-Anns. When I saw them, they shouted “Help! Put us to good use! Please??!?!” So I started search online for some swimsuit ideas and became inspired by Risa’s awesome tutorial. When I saw how detailed it was I knew I could do it! I already had the floral neoprene fabric, so all I had to buy was the black lining! Risa used the Ralph Pink Tamara pattern, so I did too of course.

I personally love the versatility of the straps. I originally made six, but decided that I liked the placement of these four better. This project certainly makes me want to make more swimsuits! Gotta find some neoprene/scuba fabric in African print! <3 Where?!?!

Somewhat. I sat in a jacuzzi for a little while, but have not actually swam in it, yet. I made this for a vacation trip, but my cousin’s preferred bar hopping verses swimming at our beach front hotel room. Lovely, eh? Haha! Oh well. There will be more opportunity in the near future hopefully.
