Description

I originally used the pattern no. 128 of Burda magazine 8/2009 (the original) but when I tried the dress on for the first time I didn’t like it at all. I decided to remove the pleats. After having it sewn I realised that I would never get the sleeves to fit so I removed them and put satin bias-tape around the armholes. The neckline didn’t fit either so i decided to add darts in the front and the back. Finally it looked good on me and to me. Then it didn’t matter that I also changed the belt: 2.5 cm velvet ribbon on 4 cm grosgrain ribbon, added the bow in the front and made the belt to close in the back. I got a lot of compliments wearing the dress.
