fave top, and another pair of shorts

still on my quest to find the perfect pair of shorts
this one was the easiest to sew
as it has no pockets
used the pattern for leather shorts, from burda magazine (12, 2011, mod 112)
really easy to work with
really quick sewing project
all you need is 0.4 m of fabric and an invisible zipper
i skipped the facings at the waist, and finished it with bias tape
so that made it even quicker to finish
for the top i used tessuti’s fave top pattern
it calls for knit fabric, but i used wool and it worked fine
and i really like the way wool drapes
but i’ll totally make me some fave tops in knit fabrics, once the weather is warmer
it’s one of my favorite tops ever
love tessuti’s pattern!
really easy to work with
clear instructions
and only two pattern pieces cut on fold
see more pics on my blog mokosha

Material Notes

shorts: 0.4m of fabric (upholstery cotton fabric, in my case), 20cm invisible zip, bias tape for the waist finishing
top: 1.7m of wool fabric

Cotton, Wool
