Fatina Plus

Added Aug 31, 2009

New York, New Yo...

The Fatina basic shift dress works great for any size and shape of body. For the Mandarin Collar variation went for an elegant office or day look using a crepe wool.
We think Alden looks stunning, nothing more to add!

The Scoop Neck Variation is also in a crepe wool. The bright pink works great for warm fall days, but also looks great combined with black leggings for cooler evenings.

Material Notes

Crepe wool, Charmeuse

Garment Type
Business, Classic

Hair and Make up

I agree, would be more realistic if a plus size model was modelling it.

yes it looks lovely.since it is advertised as a plus size, it would nice to see a plus sized model to show how it fits.

Great dress, but… this is a plus-size model?

Wait a second, I’m confused… I’ve met Alden and I’d bet money she’s not a 48 or over. But based on the wonderful sketches in the instructions I can see that the plus size bust dart is defintely the way to go for anyone a C cup or over. Perhaps some explanation as to how this plus size can be fitted for curvy ladies who aren’t quite that plus?

I love this… simple, classic, sophisticated, and yet playful with flat sandals on the bicycle. The styling here is amazing. I will make mine in an autumn color (maybe russett or burnt sienna?) and wear my brown cardigan over it as I pedal down the street this fall. Maybe some pockets too?
