I was looking for fabric for this Fashion Star 6700 pattern & found this beautiful fabric, not knit (as the pattern calls for) but I sewed it up anyway. It was easy to sew except that I forgot to set the tension properly on my machine (I was night sewing) so my bodice seams are a mess. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix? I bought the last bit of this sold out fabric & it frays like crazy so unpicking my stitches are not an option. I finished the dress anyway because did I say I love the fabric? lol I also added a pink chain strap for the shoulder ties as the pattern pieces were too small to turn inside out! Can you tell I took my own photos today? Most of them are blurry!

Fab,dress. If the seams on the bodice still are.nt great after pressing I.d add a ribbon trim in pink or one of the other pattern colours x

Nice maxi dress! I have this pattern too and can’t wait to make it and wear it! It looks great, even in a woven fabric.

I would try pressing the bodice seams well on the right setting for your fabic with a good steaming iron for better results on your seams. I always press seams at least twice; once flat as stitched, then open or however instructed, then sometimes again from the ouside. It really sets the stitches better.
