A friend recently made a felted purse with the most beautiful fabric roses on it. It inspired me to experiment with different fabrics and different style flowers. These are my first efforts but I had so much fun I’m going to be making a lot more. I attached a pin on the back of them to wear on hat’s shirts, anything. See the link in “credits” to get the free directions. And while you’re there, check out my friend’s felted purse roses. They’re outstanding!

Really nice work! Those flowers would look great on a nice jacket or dress. It would fancy up anything!

Thank you for your comment! Yes, these flowers look great on almost anything. I made some for my summer hat. But another way I like to use them is to coordinate two items of clothing. For instance, if I wear a spaghetti strap, orange, summer dress with a white sheer blouse over it, adding an orange flower to the blouse would tie the whole outfit together. A quick and inexpensive way to coordinate!
