Description

I used the Butterick 6698 pattern for this piece. I kept the arms long and shortened the rest.

The kimono is made out of a stretchy brocade type material. I’m not sure exactly what it is though. The obi belt has 4 parts. One to hold the robe closed (not pictured), one to put over the top of that (yellow padded quilt), stretchy lavender brocade with attached bow over the top of that and then a darkpurple satin ribbon to complete the look.

The shoes are also hand made as well.

Please let me know if you would be interested in purchasing a custom kimono for yourself or a loved one. I make these to order and they usually ship out 7-10 days from date ordered.

ENJOY!
