This was made from Butterick 4819. it was modified a bit, lost the draping, shortened the skirt. The bodice is made from two toned pieced strips. The embellishment is made from the organza used for the underlining. It is attached with silver seed beads. A self covered belt and buckle were added. My daughter let me have free reign on this on as it was her junior prom and as she put it, “I have next year to be picky about it”. She did choose the color. The underlining is a plaid organza, so much fun to add.

Material Notes

Dark Green and Kelly green Dupioni silk, multi color plaid silk organza underlining, rayon lining.

Is that a city skyline on the bodice?? Either way, I love it!
