emboided pillowcase

I made this pillowcase all by myself. Its very easy but takes a long time. Measure your pillow, add seam allowance and 2 cm on both sides where you want to have your buttons. Then sew the button holes and zigzaged around all edges. Then draw the pattern on the left (wrong) side of the pillowcase. Then stich along the lines. There are many good pages on the internet that explain the stiches you need. Look for the backstich you´ll need that most of the time. When done with your embroidery you can sew together the side seams of your pillowcase and youre done!

I got the pattern for the gras and flowers from here: http://www.homeberries.com/2009/06/22/new-summer-freebie-hand-embroidery-patterns/

and the little red riding hood from here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/annieoakleaves/sets/72157605673989795/

Material Notes

I used silk for the pillowcase, but any other no see through fabric would be fine aswell!
I used two strands of embroidery thread
