Description

My SIL asked me to make her little girl 6 simple dresses for the summer and these are as simple as they get. I made 4 so far. Hopefully they will like it. She didn’t want to spend a bunch of money so I had to look for very inexpensive material. I’m still on the hunt for 2 more pieces of inexpensive fabric but I really wanted some more voile. I really love how light-weight it is and perfect for in the tropics. It flows so nicely in the wind

On the first dress I thought it would be nice to break up the green with an off-white panel. I’m still up in the air about th 2nd dress with the flower border (of course I took the photo before hemming :-). Something is bothering about it but I am not sure what! :-)

Material Notes

voile w/metallic stripes, stretch poplin, seer sucker, cotton
