Description

I have just got back from the most amazing holiday I have ever been on!
I went to Goa in India with my husband – and of course that meant a new wardrobe of beautful dresses!
Most of the dresses I took with me I have already posted on here, but I kept back my newest creations so Ii could get some tropical pictures!

I just LOVE the print of this purple georgette! I have lined it with a very thin purple cotton lining , and I decided to use this lining material to create contrasting bands above and below the gathered bust.
I wanted very heavy gathering up top to contrast the simple flow of the skirt of the dress. It looks really nice with a simple shrug – but it was way too hot in India so I havn’t any pictures to show this! :D

The dress fastens with a zip up the back.

If you feel great in it, that’s the only thing that matters!!! Did I say, that purple fabric is so nice, and the colour suits you. Great!

Dear hugs and kisses, it looks like you had lots of fun. I do love the fabric, although my favourite is your dress nr 2. You might feel comfortable wearing strapless dresses, but most people don’t. (because of bra size, shape of breasts, etc etc). You are a hero for wearing that! God, I would have been stressed out the whole day :-)) I would have added a purple silk halterneck to that, for comfort.

      Thankyou for your lovelly comment!
I completely see what you are saying about it being strapless! for some reason i just seem to prefer them! i seem to be able to keep them up! lol. also – sometimes when i wear halternecks it gives me a headache – i love the look of them but i’m not a fan of things around my neck. strange i know!
      Thanks again hun xxx
